The legal concerns of our clients encompass the broad spectrum of legal matters including simple Wills, Powers of Attorneys and Health Care Proxies, complex Estate Plans including Marital and Credit Shelter Trusts, Elder Law issues, Real Estate Closings, Leases, Contracts, complex Commercial Loan Transactions, Business Corporations and Limited Liability Companies and Litigation in the courts. Over the course of time we may assist the same client with a variety of different legal issues. Our philosophy is that all our clients’ legal concerns deserve our personal attention, no matter how small.

Our clients include companies that we incorporated years ago and that have prospered and expanded, and for whom we provide ongoing legal advice regarding contracts, employment matters, land use and development, permitting and general business matters, as well as succession planning, shareholder agreements, stock purchase agreements and asset sales. They also include families whom we have counseled from the purchase of their first home through planning for their eventual long term care. We take the time to get to know our clients, their businesses, and their goals and needs so that we may better serve them.

We represent clients throughout Massachusetts, including Boston, the Merrimack Valley, Essex County, the North Shore, Newburyport, Amesbury, Salisbury, Rowley and Ipswich; Southern New Hampshire and Rockingham County; and Florida. We are actively involved in our local communities and our attorneys support numerous charities and have served on the Boards and committees of many non-profit organizations.

Our office is situated in a restored, circa 1806, Federal period house, located in historic downtown Newburyport.
